Nathan Osbourne is a supporting main character in The Savages. He is a junior student at James A. Masters High School. He considers himself related to Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne, according to what his family members told him. Not much, however, is known about his family. Nate was a former secretary of The Savages; in translation, he often took control of the clique's dirty deeds against the school, even helping with fashion tips and shoplifting, but he leaves the clique in the Season 1 episode, The Psychological Warfare, after having a close ally in Joe Bender.
In Season 2, he and Joe form a new super-clique called The Glamouflage, recruiting former members of different cliques at James A. Masters High School. Nate is often described as socially awkward, witty, but slightly immature. He also suffers from anger management, and suffers from an inferiority complex, which isolated him from Trae Ventura and Sydney Prescott, and closer to Joe.
He is portrayed by Paul Butcher and is based on EternalFlame.
Biography[]
Nate Osbourne was often notified that he might be closely related to the Osbourne family, prior to his surname. However, it isn't exactly believed that he is related, Nate continues to be optimistic about it. Nate is very much known to be the third member of the Savages - he becomes the secretary, third in charge alongside Trae and Sydney. He technically joins in the event of an unfair school.
Storyline[]
Nate Osbourne, despite minimum focus, is introduced as the secretary, third in charge of The Savages. Initially, he was close friends with Trae Ventura and Sydney Prescott, where he was more active, socially awkward. When Gina Woods joined the clique, he went to a store to shoplift clothes for her, thus sowing his savage behavior. However, when Joe Bender joined, he managed to brainwash Nate into believing that Trae and Sydney were using him as a puppet. For a while, Nate has felt ostracized from the Savages, particularly by Trae and Sydney. Joe manipulated him into believing it's true and encouraging him to treat them differently. Eventually, Nate's behavior starts to shift and his friendship with Sydney plummets; behavior-wise, he makes an alter ego, Breadquanda, which rubs members of The Savages the wrong way. (The Boomerang Effect, The Feminist Manifesto) In addition, he confronts Sydney for taking Joe away from him, as well as complaining about the trip to Portland, Oregon. (The Wild Ride) When Joe is absent for a few days, Nate keeps his closeness to the Savages, while also getting into a small confrontation with Watermelondrea Jones. (The School For Scandal) However, he reaches his breaking point with everyone by quitting the Savages, by Joe's demand. He confronts every member in the group for their hypocrisy. Alex Herrera, Carl Touché and Sydney both confront him about Joe's bad influence. (The Psychological Warfare)
Nate goes against The Savages and their riot by getting into a wrestling altercation with Sydney once and for all, this increasing Nate's bitter feelings towards her and the clique. (The Beast Unleashed)Songs[]
